The contribution deepens the theme of motherly love and intuitive spirit of the mother. Central is the value of the mother- child relationship in the child's growth process and the risk of a degeneration of this relationship. In this point the contribution analyzes the theme of the infanticide in the studies of Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, because it is an important theme, often subject of chronicle.
