Abstract

The article aims to explore the idea of school as scholè in a natural environment. In this perspective, ‘open school’ can become a place where to experience waiting time, relationship, freedom and responsibility, in a combination and contamination of events and actions peculiar to lifelong learning. Through the promotion of the embodiment cognition and the development of "open-air" learning experience, school/scholè could prove to be a priviledge way towards an integral education.
