The “pedagogia serena” of Giuseppe Lombardo Radice among the pages of «L’educatore della Svizzera italiana»: from Lezioni di didattica to Pedagogia di apostoli e di operai (1913-1936)

Abstract

The paper focuses on the contributions of the Italian pedagogist Giuseppe Lombardo Radice (1879-1938), published by the Swiss teacher magazine «L’educatore della Svizzera italiana» during the first half of XX Century. The collaboration with Lugano school headmaster Ernesto Pelloni allowed Lombardo Radice to make his main works known in large part of teachers and headmasters of Tessin, involved since long time in reforming “inside” the local primary schools.
