Data-driven decision making in school system

Abstract

The Italian education system, and not only in Italy, tries to guarantee an excellent service through, LEPs (essential levels of services), implementing monitoring and evaluation actions accomplished by external actors like INVALSI (Italian: National Institute for the Evaluation of Education Systems).

The work described here wants to fit into the current evaluation process actually adopted and improving it with the design of Intelligence system dedicated to education sector, providing to the management a tool able to estimate KPIs, analyze dashboards, reports and scorecards for each function existing in the scholastic institution. They will highlight the status of the institution and the objectives to be achieved in order to improve educational service.
