Abstract

The article highlights the crucial role of Teaching and Learning Centers (TLCs) in innovative learning ecosystems. It analyses the context of European educational policies and the importance of innovation in university teaching and research. The skills required for teachers in national and international contexts are discussed, pointing out the need for continuous professional development following the heutagogical model. The essay presents the project of Ca' Foscari University and its commitment to educational innovation and the professional development of teachers both in terms of training and internationalization of teaching practices.
