Abstract
The aim of this contribution is to investigate the salient aspects of the PhD with an industrial connotation in the pedagogical field. Furthermore, through a critical-realistic approach, the personal epistemologies, imbued with tacit knowledge of doctoral students, work-integrated learning in the theory-practice circularity, identity transitions and career development were analyzed.
