The Pedagogical Body Care: a Lifelong Perspective

Abstract

This paper explores the pedagogical care of the body within a lifelong learning framework, emphasizing the integration of educational and biomedical perspectives. It highlights how physical activities and sports can be useful for holistic care and, at the same time, health promotion throughout the lifespan. The study calls for an interdisciplinary approach to both undergraduate and postgraduate training of professionals in the motor and sport sciences, ensuring a balance between technical, clinical, and educational competencies to support lifelong well-being and sustainable practices.
