Abstract

This article analyzes some books by Italian writers who have told stories of precarious work. Murgia, De Viola and Trevisan have described situations of precariousness not only at work, but also at social level, providing great starting points for pedagogical reflection. In particular, the many stories of precariousness narrated often underline how the flexibility of work does not always translate into liberation from the constraints, routine and rigidity of work, often the pages of the novels offer the opportunity to fully understand the ambivalent aspects of opportunity and risk. A pedagogical reading of these situations could help and equip subjects to know how to learn to seize opportunities, limiting risks.
