Abstract

This article aims to analyze in a simplex perspective the education of Janusz Korczak for the professional training of teachers and educators considering both the autobiographical and the narrative practices that emerge from his unpublished “Works” recently published in Italy. Korczak took narration as documentation and as a metacognitive process for the elaboration of both physical and intellectual experiences. So, Korczak may be considered a precursor pedagogist of the most modern “Embodied Cognition”: he considered corporeity as a sacred language of reality (hierosemia) and the child as a manifestation this “miracole”.
