Thinking, Designing and Implementing a history workshop. The research experience of the Ligurian Archive of Popular Writing
Abstract
In school and educational settings, teaching historical knowledge effectively requires a thoughtful approach that incorporates a range of methods and tools. This research paper explores the potential of using documents preserved in popular writing archives to enhance history education. The study was conducted with third-grade students at the Carlo Rosselli Higher Technical Institute in Genoa, with a specific emphasis on the Ligurian Archive of Popular Writing (ALSP). The aim is to develop educational strategies suitable for schools at all levels.
