Abstract
In the essay I aim to offer some pedagogical reflections on the emblematic figure of don Lorenzo Milani, starting from the intense and fruitful experience of the Barbiana school: a pastoral and educational testimony that focuses on attention to the least. A current thought that can be found in the expression I care, as a pedagogical commitment that the school is called to undertake in creating educational paths of solidarity, responding to the needs and requirements of the new generations, between human development and social justice.
