“Never lose sight of educating the whole child”. The pedagogical legacy of Rosa and Carolina Agazzi
Abstract
More than a hundred years after the foundation of the Mompiano nursery school, the educational experience of Rosa and Carolina Agazzi still offers a pedagogical reference full of innovative insights. Around the semantic core of the child as a ‘vital sprout, the Agazzi method has been able to weave educational actions and gestures of mutual care, creating the conditions for a pedagogical heritage that still today is able to offer innovative ideas for fostering contextual conditions so that the potential with which each child is endowed can be expressed.
