The Echo of Children’s Literature in Rosa Agazzi’s 'Guida per le educatrici dell’infanzia'

Abstract

The article aims to analyze several children’s stories written by Rosa Agazzi and included in her Guida per le educatrici dell’infanzia, comparing them with themes present in late 19^th-century school textbooks and with the bestseller Le memorie di un pulcino by Ida Baccini (1875). The goal is to highlight correlations and references to the contemporary children’s literature of the time.
