Training future educators, not “diligent theory collectors”. Rosa Agazzi's commitment to the professionalization of educators
Abstract
The article aims to present a reinterpretation of some principles of Rosa Agazzi's work on the professionalization of educators. Some of the topics dealt with in the Guide for Guide for Early Childhood Educators are also widely covered in the Pedagogical Guidelines for the Integrated System zerosei, albeit with different declinations and emphases. the central importance of theories in the training of professionals is proving to be a key issue. Another topic worthy of closer examination is the moral education of children, which, even if it departs from moralistic overtones, appears to be a relevant topic today.
