Abstract

The article examines La Scuola publishing house’s perspective on the Agazzi method. By analyzing print and archival sources that have received limited attention in educational historiography, this study reveals that «Pro Infantia» – a journal for kindergarten teachers launched by the Brescia publisher in 1913 – initially expressed significant reservations about this educational experiment. However, between the mid and late 1920s, the journal shifted its stance, embracing the Agazzi system as a reference model and even involving Rosa Agazzi in editing its education section.
