Abstract

Among the educational activities proposed by Rosa Agazzi with her sister Carolina and placed at the centre of the Guida per le educatrici dell'infanzia, storytelling occupies a significant place. The contribution intends to illustrate the forms and dimensions that characterise these narrative experiences, which are structured as polyphonic and polymorphic, but also close to the child's real, everyday world. In them, iconic and verbal language intertwine, proposing labour and industriousness as a means of maturation and identity growth for young children.
