Abstract

The contribution analyses the forms of representation of disability in children's and adolescents' literature. Starting from the recognition of the active role of storytelling in defining norms, values, and cultural models, it highlights how literary representations contribute to shaping perceptions of differences and influence processes of inclusion and exclusion. It therefore proposes an inclusive reading workshop as an educational tool to promote the recognition of otherness and the appreciation of the plurality of experiences and lived realities.
