“Those who begin well are halfway there”: “Agazzian workshop” as a pedagogical tool for the training of 0-6 professionals
Abstract
This essay critically reflects on the Agazzi sisters’ approach in order to grasp its implications for the training of preschool professionals. Drawing on Rosa’s Guide for Childcare Educators, which outlines the pedagogical and methodological principles of the Mompiano experience developed with Carolina, we propose the workshop as a pedagogical tool to train future educators and teachers in crèches and kindergartens. Indeed, they can acquire a habitus that values relationships, care, dialogue, creativity and the experiences of children in their daily lives.
